David Peterson was the "name" of Kyle's birth father.

After the incident at the carnival, David arrived at the hospital with his wife, Julie. They claimed that they were Kyle, or Noah's, birth parents.
At first, Kyle refused to go with them, but afer a conversation with Tom Foss in the woods, Kyle lied and said he remembered them. Kyle left with the Petersons, but not before leaving clues for Declan to discover that it was all a lie.
While driving, Kyle complimented the Peterson's for being such good liars. They replied it was their job. Kyle asked them about the DNA test proving they were his parents. David explained that they were able to obtain the appropriate genetic material. When Kyle asked from whom they said "Oh you'll see him soon." They arrived at a mansion. Kyle asked where they were and David replies that all they were told was to bring Kyle there.

Julie and David were said to have been killed in a car crash, but it was a lie by Brian Taylor so Kyle could return to the Tragers.

Because David and his wife were actors, it is possible that their names were not really Julie and David Peterson. But since those were the only names given on the show, that is what the page will be called.
