- Amanda Bloom - daughter
Carol marches her daughter Amanda to the Tragers to complain about Kyle "breaking into" their house and scaring Amanda. Amanda tries to explain what really happened, but her mother won't listen. Carol takes Amanda home after realizing that she and Kyle are staring at each other in a romantic way.
When Amanda crashes her car while watching Kyle jump off his roof, Kyle says that he damaged the car, to protect Amanda. This comfirms Carol's view of him, and she forbids him to have anything to do with her.
After Amanda's confirmation, when Kyle and Amanda are beginning to have another romantic conversation, Carol rudely takes her home.
When a thief breaks into the Bloom house, the only thing missing is a bracelet, a family heirloom that was the last thing Amanda's father gave to her before he died. When Kyle finds it in a pawn shop, the records show that Carol had pawned it. Because Kyle returns it, she has to take a kinder view of him.
Carol watches from behind their backyard hedge when Kyle levitates on the lawn sprinkler water, and she brings three of her friends to watch later. Kyle manages to convince her and her friends that he was actually standing on a pop-up sprinkler head, and only giving the illusion of levitation.
Carol is angry at Amanda for coming home to drop out of music school, so she puts her on lockdown. Lori, Josh, and even Jessi help get Amanda out of the house to meet Kyle. Too jealous of Amanda, however, Jessi tips Carol about their date at The Rack, which Carol crashes just as they are about to kiss.
When Amanda is abducted from the end of the Prom, Carol goes to the Trager's to ask them what they know. They know about Kyle and Jessi's struggle to find her, and Nicole asks Carol to wait with them, to keep her from going off to the after-party. Nicole offers her a glass of wine, and she proceeds to get quite tipsy while they play a word game. She goes home and sees Amanda delivered at the stroke of her 3:00 a.m. curfew, interrupting them kissing.
