Bradford Hooper was the principal for Beachwood High School.

Hooper was initially against having Kyle enrolled in school as he considered him "special." Nicole Trager told him it was his obligation to give Kyle an education. Hooper said he could give Kyle a tutor, provided Kyle completed a state-sponsored test.
On the first day of school, Kyle came in to take the test. Hooper gave him history, which Kyle knew nothing about. Hooper was enraged to see Kyle skipped out on the test. He said Kyle had on half an hour. The Tragers told Hooper to let Kyle try. Kyle completed it with five minutes left and requested to be put in school instead of a tutor.

Hooper caught Kyle, Lori, Josh Amanda, Andy Jensen, and Hillary skipping first period to protest the rule against same-sex couple for the dance. He stood by his rule and forbade the skippers from going to the dance.
He later punished Josh for skipping out on the career fair. A few days a later, he told him the career fair was only for student who care about their future. Josh insisted that he did care and Hooper says that's all he needed to hear.
